Working Groups: Innovation

The objectives of the Innovation Working Group are to continue to foster automotive sector innovation through a globally competitive business environment that encourages industry-relevant research, process and product development activities, and the commercialization of ideas to maintain and create high value added jobs and wealth in Canada. The working group is co-chaired by Jan Chaplin, President and CEO of Canadian General-Tower Limited, and Alan Wildeman, President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Windsor. A sub-group, the Lightweight Materials Working Group, is chaired by Robert Bergeron, Président, CIFM - Centre Intégré de Fonderie et de Métallurgie.
